My Nieces Came to Play Again!!!

Diane was watching Millie, Maggie and Ellie sometime in October.  I really enjoy when she watches them because we end up getting to see them too.  Diane, Sarah, Kristine and Millie needed to go pick up the hay rack for Kristine’s class to build a Homecoming float.  Maggie and Ellie came over to play at our house instead of joining them.  We were very excited to play with them!  We had sand brought over earlier in the day for the sandbox and the kids were very excited to play in it.  There was just a large pile in the middle and we needed to spread it all out.  Maggie and Ellie got right to work helping move sand around.  They are really great workers!

After we played in the sand I showed them our new way to have fun in the backyard.  We take Vincent’s balance bike and ride it down the hill.  The important thing is to just slow down before you crash into the fence.   Yes, I have ridden the balance bike!  Yes, it is fun!  Yes, it was my idea!  Joel likes to go down in his little car, but he goes really slow and usually stops halfway.  He prefers to be up on the deck crashing into the bushes.  Cecilia take her little 4 wheeler down and goes pretty slow too, but she loves it.  Which leave Vincent forced to share his balance bike with his mom.  Maggie and Millie also took turns on the balance bike and loved it.  Maggie also tried taking the tricycle down the hill, but that proved to be a bad idea.  She didn’t get hurt, but with the pedals flying around it could be a disaster.  Afterwards we played in the basement for a while.  Maggie and Millie are a lot of fun!  After a little while Grandma came back with Keith and Millie to pick up the girls and head back to her house for supper.  Vincent wanted to keep playing with his cousins so he went back to Grandma’s for dinner too.
