With all the excavator work that was done to clear areas for the fence and all the other random trees they decided to take down we ended up with four very large piles of trees that needed to be burned. We aren't talking about small piles, we are talking at least 6 feet tall piles of wood.

When they started the one closest to the house my grandparents, the kids, and I sat and enjoyed for a little while. The kids played in the back of the truck, ran around a little bit and we took a few pictures. My grandparents, especially my grandma, had a blast and really enjoyed the fire. The fire was quite large, we were up the hill and back a little ways and still could feel the heat. By the time the weekend happened all the large piles of trees were gone, but we had plenty of wood left for a smaller fire.
