Best Bouncy House Ever!

Last year at the Farm Progress Show we heard about Claas having a combine bouncy house.  We weren’t there to see it but it sounded cool.  This year Bob talked to someone we know at Claas and was able to get the bouncy house for our annual farm party.  It was getting shipped directly from the manufacturer to our farm.  It arrived about 1 week before the farm party and left a few days later, which worked out well for us!

The side view.  In between the tires there was a tunnel.

Vincent loved sitting in this spot while the bouncy house was inflated.

We spent that week bouncing, climbing and  having fun on the bouncy house.  By we I mean all my nieces and  nephew, my kids, Brad, Diane, Sarah, and I.  It was really cool and a lot of fun. Grandma Diane had a cousin party and sleepover for all the grand kids (if you wear diapers you couldn’t sleep over…my rule not hers).  They spent the whole night playing on the bouncy house until it was too dark, then they moved on to rides on the Gator, Ranger, etc in the woods!

Cecilia's turn.  She could climb in and up the ladder and go down the slide all on her own!

You entered the bouncy house in the front of the combine by the corn head and there was a big open area to bounce.  Then you climbed up a ladder to the top of a slide and you would slide out the back of the combine.  There was also a tunnel underneath that you could get to from the outside and crawl from one side to another.

Cecilia loved the bouncy house!

Goofy kids!

Karoline did really well.  Keith got a little nervous, but luckily he trusts his Aunt Kelli.

The night of the cousin party we were all on the bouncy house doing somersaults down the slide and making up other games.  Sometimes 1 person would roll sideways down the slide and other people would jump over them.  All 3 of my kids loved the bouncy house and Cecilia could even climb the ladder and go down the slide by herself!  The best part was that it was something that all the cousins could do together where everyone was having fun, even though there is a 16 year age span.  I loved the bouncy house too.  It was great fun and it was fun to do tricks and games that my niblings (Thanks to Kennidy I recently learned that means nieces and nephews) and children were coming up with.  It was a really great family bonding tool.  One of their favorite things was to  turn off the blowers, wait for it to deflate and then get inside it while one of the kids turned the blowers back on.  They thought it was so cool to be on it while it was inflating.  Brad and I may have convinced Keith and Karoline to get on the top of it while it was inflating.  Keith doesn't like heights, so that was a big deal! At the end of the night the kids all went for rides on the Gator, Ranger, etc around the woods at our house.  It was a lot of fun and we even got lost in our own yard!

It was also a great tool for bribing my children.  Eat your dinner then we can go to the bouncy house, if you take a nap then we can go bounce on the combine.  It was great!

One of the coolest things was that one night when we were all playing in the bouncy house our new real combine arrived!  The kids had fun exploring that too, but the bouncy combine was more popular with my kids.  What is new about this combine?  This new combine has  more horse power, and a different cleaning mechanism.  Although the thing all of us passengers judge it on is the buddy seat.  It isn’t any bigger and you can’t squeeze an entire family in it very comfortably.
