My grandparents are hosting 2 girls from the Philippines for two weeks. It isn't the first time my grandparents have hosted kids from another country. Last year they did a similar thing with 2 teenage boys. Also, for the last two summers they have hosted college baseball players that play in a league by their house.

The girls are here as part of a leadership program. Their names are Dorothy (15) and Yara (16). They are smart, sweet, beautiful girls. Sunday my grandparents and the girls met us at church on Sunday and then spent the afternoon at our house. They were instantly Vince's best friends. The way he was acting you would have thought he had known them his whole life. He showed them all his toys, got them to play UNO with him, showed him his slide, the tree house and the horses.

While they were here Brad saddled up Croc and gave the girls and Vince rides on Croc around the yard. It started to rain about the same time and they both barely got their rides in before it started pouring. It was great getting to know the girls and hear about the Philippines even if it was only for a few hours.

My grandparents are having a great time with their house guests and I am sure will be sad when they are gone.
