Our Oasis is no longer ours!

We love playing in the yard!  We take walks with the wagon, ride bikes, ride on the Gator, build sand castles, walk the dogs, play in the yucky barn, climb on the lime pile, climb on the mulch pile, visit the horses, play basketball, play soccer, play with the water table and of course play on the swing set!  And that can all happen in a two hour period.  The kids have acres to run on and take advantage of most of it.

A few new activities this year include standing in the water table and jumping in the water.  I guess if you don’t have any puddles around it is a good idea.

You can also make your own mud puddle and spend some time jumping in it.  The first time around they made it in the horse pasture, not a great idea.  The second time I volunteered my garden.  We are in the process of moving, so we didn’t plant the garden.  It makes a great mud hole! Vincent is now big enough to turn the water hydrant on and off and because of that Joel is now his best friend.  It was so much fun to see them actually playing together!

We received some hand-me-down clothes from one of my friends.  Most of the clothes were Vincent’s size including an army green snowsuit and a pair of flip flops.  Vincent was in love with the snowsuit not only because it was army green but because it had so many pockets to keep his collections in.  He wore it outside on two different days with flip flops.  He saw nothing wrong.  It was 80+ degrees both days when he wore it.  I never got a picture, but luckily the babysitter shared her picture with me.

Cecilia loves to swing and is happy to swing in the baby swing, the regular swing or belly swing on the regular swing.  She also likes to just go by the dogs and sit and talk to them.  There are a lot of pictures in this post and part of that is because we finished moving on Tuesday, we closed on our house Wednesday and we are all already missing our house and yard!  Some of us are handling it better than others.
